Flatlander’s Baked German Pork Chop Recipe
Ingredients:
1 kg Sauerkraut, drain well
1 c. Brown sugar
8 pork chop slices, trim excess fats
4 sliced onions
4 Granny Smith apple tarts, cored and sliced
8 small celery ribs, sliced thinly
6 c. Pale Ale
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp garlic clove
1 c. dried sherry
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F. Display the Sauerkraut in a bake tray and add sugar and meat.
Mix onion, apple and celery ribs and put over meat. Then add the beer.
Mix seeds, cinnamon and garlic. Pour overthe celery. Cover the tray with aluminum paper and oven bake for 90 minutes.
Remove the aluminum paper and add dry sherry. Let cooked, uncovered for 1/2 hour and Serve with boiled potato.
