Herb Stuffed Pork Chop Recipe
Ingredients:
2 tbsp crushed garlic
6 tbsp sliced parsley
1 tsp marjoram
1 tsp sage
1/2 c. bread crumbs, fresh
1/2 tsp white pepper
2 beaten eggs
2 cups flour
2 tbsp butter, not salted
2 cups chicken soup, not salty
8 pork chop slices, center cut
1/2 c. pistachio nut, shell and whitened
1/2 lb pork sausages
1/2 c. onions, mince
2 c. sliced mushrooms
Step by Step Instructions:
1.Butterfly chops and pound briefly to make meat tender
2.Brown sausage in preheated skillet on low temperature for 5-7 minutes
3.Add minced onions and mushroom slices and cook for 60 seconds.
4.Mix with the first five ingredients and add pepper, pistachio & 1 tsp salt , cook for 3 mins.
5.Brown the meat in heated butter for about 10 minutes
6.Heat oven to 350F
7.Put the meat in a roaster and oven bake for 1 hr
8.Add 1 c. soup to meat and cover with aluminum paper
9.Oven bake for another 20 minutes while turning once
10.Display the meat on a serving dish
11.Pour the left over soup to roasting pan and stir well
12.Strain the sauce and top the meat.
13.Serve immediately
